    Exhaust System
The exhaust system was fabricated by Hanksville Hot Rods. The design closely copies the Penske design. There are 4 collectors, each fed from two primaries, then exiting the side. The floor is tunneled so that the exhaust system is tucked into the floor.

Replica of the 1971 Championship Roger Penske/Mark Donohue Trans Am Javelin

This is a road race not-street legal race car.

This car is build to exacting standards to replicate the original car that won the SCCA Trans Am Championship in 1971.  The car was originally built to be a street driven tribute car, however over the last 5 yrs it has been completely rebuilt from to to bottom to closely replicate the actual car that won the 1971 Trans Am Championship driven by Mark Donohue.  Soon to be installed... a SCCA spec 5 liter (304 cid) dry sump engine.  I expect to have it installed and track/show ready at the end of March.
